Season 2 And Site Changes

So here's the deal and what's going to happen on both season two and the site for No Pro Audio.

We have officially removed all but one side show on our site, the only remaining side show is skits. But if you wish to add what we had for our sideshows to your own personal collection you can find all of the recorded shows and extra un used audio on our vault page.

Not that we don't want to do these side shows, we did and still do see a lot of potential for these shows but we are dealing with other people and their own personal schedules. 

Over the time everyone's schedules have become over crowded and changed so its hard for us all to make a time and get together to do what we want to do.

All in all it was a neat idea/ experiment and we are glad we got to try it out to see if it was a good thing or a bad thing or if it would even work out.

Thanks for giving us the chance to try something new and not letting it intimidate you.

As for season two...

Yes it's coming and yes we have made a few changes and they are not big and we think they would be a nice playful touch to the show. (Woe that sounds dirty...)

Well here's all I can say about season two. We have a new opening theme and a new way of dealing with guests as a spotlight/ segment instead of keeping them on the whole episode. 

We also are in the middle of working with a composer who can help create our own background music for the show so we can have all rights to all of our stuff and make it easier for us to put season two on iTunes. 

Not really much to say about season two other than we are trying to finish up season one to get to it.

Season Two Preparations

So what exactly are we doing all for season two?

Well the format will not change but what will change is the equipment.

Better sound, better software, better equipment, better material.

Season Two Thoughts

So with season two on its way, we are thinking about having more special guests on the show.

We are getting our studio setup... Setup.

We are getting a studio audio mixer with some new professional microphones and  we are in the warily process of sound proofing the studio for a clear audio quality.

We also have some new software we will be using as well.

As much as we are doing and putting into the podcast, we still want to remain like our title. We are called No Pro Audio for a reason.

We are mainly doing all of this for other projects as well as the podcast, our studio will be doing animations, music, comics and podcast.

Season Two Approaches

So we are working on episode 19 now, season two will begin on episode 21.

With season one we are wrapping it up with listener appreciation and a season one look back. 

We hope you join us for season two as we hope some of the new ideas and changes we make will be to your liking.

We won't give off the new ideas and changes just yet but only because its nothing big so don't worry.

We're not changing the format unless we think we can add something good to it. 

Delays And Why

So a lot of our friends and listeners including some of our team members who do these side shows have been wondering why it's been taking so long for an episode to come out or why most side shows are not coming out.

Well truth be told I have been a little busy lately with work, pulling in overtime, getting ready for Black Friday and doing studio work.

Most of the side shows probably won't be coming out soon because of how busy everyone is. The anime show will be updated and the ladies show is being worked on, I'm gathering material for the ghost show and its hard to motivate Torey to do another episode for games.

Skits will be updated and right now we are mainly focused on getting the show ready for season two.

We will be changing the opening intro and getting all the best clips for the season one look back.

We are getting a lot of professional, high quality recording software for the studio, that and other software for other projects.

That's it for now, sorry for the delay but we ARE trying.

I Need A Bigger Team

I know I've got my work cut out for me for the podcast and site but I need a bigger team of people dedicated to different things to help ease up the slack for me. 

Truth be told I have a great team of people who are fully dedicated to the show but I might need to either decide to assign more people for more things or cut down on some things that we are already doing.

Truth be told the podcast is taking up a large part of my free time and I need to fix that so I could work on other projects that I need to be working on other than just the podcast.

Seasons 1and 2 Planned Out

Me and Kevin went ahead and planned out all the topic of the weeks for seasons 1 and 2.

We got some good ones coming out and we hope you like what's in store for you.

Download Problems/ Solutions???

Well one of the things we've been noticing with our listeners and friends is they can't download our episodes without making an account and here's some of our possible solutions that we will be looking over. 

For one, we dDo enjoy our support and our time to listen to our show and believe it or not your views are a great help to help us figure out the popularity of episode or how well received a certain topic is so we can easily decide better topics for the future or learn what to keep doing or what to change for the better of the show.

So our hosting site is YourListen and to download an uploaded audio file you would need to create an account and then you can download BUT I really don't want to force someone to join another site against their own will just to download an episode so I've been looking at our settings on our account to see of we can let guest download without making an account. 

If we can't then we will make a guest listener account for free for anyone to use  just to log in and download possibly comment on an episode. 

We are dedicated and willing to make it easier for you the listener, there will be restrictions on the account and in order to se those restrictions we will set up the account for that and that only. 

We can't afford to let anyone come in and change the settings, adding other accounts as favorites or upload... Come to think of it that gives me a future idea for down the road of listening life.

Well this account will be restricted to download and comment only.  

If you do feel like making an account then  that would be great to see that support because adding an episode to your favorites does help is too but then again we are just here for fun so we won't expect that : D

No Pro Audio Quickies

So I have more news on the No Pro Audio Quickies. 

It will be a YouTube short animation based on the best moments of certain episodes.

I am 56% finished with the first animation and we are planning on making this a weekly thing when I get caught up on it.

It won't be hard to find, we will be plugging it on the homepage l.

I'm currently working on a short cheap animation of the best moments of No Pro Audio. 

They will be called No Pro Audio: Quickies.

Facebook Support

Recently we have been working our goal to reach fifty likes on our No Pro Audio Facebook page this week and the support has been outstanding! 

We are still working on reaching that goal and we are almost there but there is still plenty of time to show your love and support.

Too Many Good Ideas!!!

I never expected the podcast to end up like the way it has, this is a podcast i am proud of but I still want to keep improving it while at the same time keep up with the  original intents for the whole thing. 

Well I know the side shows haven't updated as much or as fast as I would like them to but that's ok. 

I do t expect all these shows to do so well or to update as much, the main concern is the main show.

Skits Official!

Well the skits idea I had for a side show is now the new official sixth side show added into the No Pro Audio family archive. 

We will be carrying three types of shows involving the skits.

One of coarse the new No Pro Audio skits, two a skit series I like to call Clone-A-Phobe and skits form our old show called Zach N A Pack.

We would be more than happy to take skit ideas/ suggestions and to involve more people who would be interested in free voice acting and verbal play. Anyone who can pretend and read would be perfect for the Job.

We hope you enjoy the new addition to the show and we hope to see more support for the side shows like the main show. I know they just started and it could be either overwhelming or discouraging to try something new but we recommend you to step out of your comfort zone and give one of these new shows a try.

Another Side Show Idea

Well I know I have five side shows already, six shows all together to be exact.

I'm going to add in one more side show and this show wont be updated as much due to the fact this would be the one show I would put the most work and effort into. Not that this one is more important than the rest but because this show would require a lot of editing and time to put at least one episode together.

What do you think of No Pro Audio: Skits?

I chose this as the newest side show because not only do we enjoy doing these skits for the listeners but we've noticed that the listeners really enjoy the skits as well.

So to start it off we will be posting up Episode 3 from the original show and upload old skits we made from our old podcast "Zach N A Pack".

This would really help the show out a lot because it would make it so much easier for listeners who enjoy the skits to find them and for the old listeners to re live the old days, listening to the old skits we've made over the time and we would love for the No Pro Audio listeners to get to know the old days.

Not only will this help you the listener but it will help us as well when it comes to getting the main show out weekly like we plan to keep doing. Doing these skits take a lot of time for me to edit, tweak and add in all the sound effects for the imagination of the listeners.

So when you have skit planned out to play on a set time for a set episode it tends to complicate the release dates for all the episodes we plan on putting out for you the listener and when that happens then that seems to start to worry the listeners and thats the last thing we want to do is to make you wait and worry.

So now we will have a dedicated side show for skits only and we will hopefully return to our regular weekly updates for our show.

Surprisingly we have more people who are interested in helping with these side shows or wanting to dedicate their time in working on a segment for some side shows.

I want to thank you all for your support and passion for helping with the podcast.

The start of it all

I'm starting this blog for podcast purposes to not only advertise the podcast but to update and to share my ideas I might have about the show and hope to get some feedback from the listeners and see what they may think about the ideas or to share their ideas as well.

No Pro Audio is a podcast created by a small group of people who have dedicated themselves to creating podcast entertainment for everyone to enjoy while at the same time we are not aiming to be professional about it nor are we trying to make money off of this.

We currently have six shows, that's not including episodes, No Pro Audio has six shows dedicated to six different types of genres.

Our main show which we try to update once a week is our most popular and well received show. There we read emails from the listeners and discuss about the topic of the week. 

Our next show is one out of the five side shows that we have just started, these shows are not updated weekly but whenever we get the chance to update them in our spare time.

No Pro Audio: Ghost is a show where I discuss any kind of ghost talk, share and read people's submitted personal ghost stories. They can either type it out and I read it out loud or record it themselves and I add in scary music to it. 

I also play E.V.P recordings and discuss them, urban legends and creepy pastas.

Our second side show is is hosted by an old co- host of mine, Brad James and his show is No Pro Audio: Anime/ Manga.

There he shares anything Anime or Manga related for anyone who might be interested.

Our third side show is No Pro Audio: Comic Night, Hosted by. Zach Dailey and Co-Host, Brad James.
Here we talk about our comics and projects we have been working on or plan to work on in the future while at the same time share tips and tricks of how we work on our comics.

We also list tools that we use.

Our fourth side show is No Pro Audio: Ladies Edition, hosted by. Deanna Dailey, my wife.

Her show really has no format but it has just started and I'm sure it will be a good show to tune into.

Our last side show is No Pro Audio: Games, Hosted by. Zach Dailey, Co-Host with Torey Bell.

Here we talk about anything video games related.
